Spare Parts Supervisor



Location:

Mahalaxmi Honda, Bagal Chowk, Kolhapur

Job Summary:



The Spare Parts Supervisor is responsible for managing the entire spare parts operation, ensuring smooth inventory management, and maintaining efficient counter sales. This role includes spare parts ordering, receiving, invoicing, and ensuring proper stock levels to meet workshop and customer demands.

Purpose:



To ensure the effective management of spare parts operations, including ordering, receiving, inventory management, and counter sales, while maintaining high standards of service and product availability.

Key Responsibilities:



1.

Spare Parts Operation Management:



o Oversee the day-to-day operations of the spare parts department to ensure seamless functioning.

2.

Spare Parts Ordering:



o Place orders for spare parts as per inventory requirements, ensuring timely availability to meet workshop and customer needs.

3.

Counter Sales & Invoicing:



o Handle customer inquiries and sales of spare parts at the counter, ensuring accurate invoicing and payments.

4.

catalogues & Bulletins Management:



o Arrange and maintain updated spare parts catalogues and ensure timely distribution of parts bulletins to relevant departments.

5.

Receiving & Inventory Management:



o Ensure the proper receiving and storage of parts as per the inventory system.

o Manage stock levels and conduct regular inventory audits to maintain optimum stock.

6. . Business parameters :



Ensuring the parts retail and wholesale plan is achieved and the turnaround time to give parts to workshop staff should be reduced and keep bringing it down.

7.

Training:



Attend training session conducted by the company at the training centre as per organizational requirement to remain updated and refresh on skill sets and new products and its updates new, guidelines and industry.

Skills & Attitude:



Skills:



o Strong knowledge of spare parts and automotive industry.

o Excellent organizational and time management skills.

o Experience in inventory management and sales.

o Proficient in using inventory management software and systems.

Attitude:



o Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying inventory needs.

o Strong customer service skills with a focus on accurate sales and invoicing.

o Team player, capable of working with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Experience:



2-4 years of experience in spare parts management or a similar role within the automotive or retail industry

Working Conditions:



Full-time position based at the dealership.

Notice Period:



60 days' notice period for resignation or termination.
