Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and qualified

Spanish Teacher

to join our Secondary School team. The ideal candidate will foster language acquisition, cultural awareness, and communication skills through engaging, student-centred learning aligned with IB philosophy.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, deliver, and assess Spanish lessons as per IB MYP / DP (or IGCSE where applicable) curriculum Develop students' reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in Spanish Create an immersive language-learning environment with a focus on cultural understanding Design differentiated lesson plans to meet diverse learner needs Use inquiry-based, concept-driven teaching strategies Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback Maintain accurate academic records and documentation Collaborate with homeroom teachers, coordinators, and the language department Participate in school events, cultural programs, and professional development Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress

Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's / Master's degree in Spanish or related field Teaching qualification (B.Ed / PGCE / equivalent preferred) Minimum

2-5 years

of teaching experience at Secondary level Experience with

IB MYP / DP

curriculum is highly preferred Strong command over Spanish and English Familiarity with international school standards and assessments
