Position Overview
Good Shepherd International School invites applications from dynamic and experienced educators for the position of IBDP Spanish Teacher, who can also teach Spanish B and Ab Initio across the MYP, IGCSE, and IB Diploma Programme.
Teaching & Learning
Deliver engaging, high-quality instruction in IBDP Spanish B & Ab Initio..
Integrate digital tools and technology to enhance language instruction.
Encourage inquiry-based and student-centric teaching methodologies.
Board Examination Management
Ensure curriculum completion and comprehensive revision plans for all language board exams.
Coordinate with IB, Cambridge, and ICSE boards for registrations, assessment protocols, and compliance.
Oversee examination logistics, documentation, and student readiness.
Student Development & Enrichment
Organize enrichment programs such as language clubs, international exchanges, and cultural festivals.
Guide students on language pathways, college readiness, and global opportunities.
Foster global citizenship and intercultural understanding.
Key Qualifications
Education
Master's Degree in Spanish, Linguistics, Literature, or a related field.
B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification is mandatory.
Experience
At least 5 years of teaching experience in Spanish French (B and Ab Initio) across IBDP, MYP, IGCSE, or ICSE.
Demonstrated experience with board exam preparation and documentation.
Skills & Competencies
Bilingual/multilingual proficiency
Strong curriculum planning, classroom management, and assessment skills.
Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team of educators.
Excellent organizational, communication, and intercultural skills.
Preferred Certifications
IB Category 1/2 Workshops (DP and/or MYP)
Cambridge IGCSE Language Certification
