Job Description

Position Summary:

The Spanish Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging, effective, and culturally rich Spanish language instruction to students. The teacher will promote linguistic proficiency, intercultural understanding, and appreciation for Hispanic cultures in alignment with the school's academic standards and philosophy.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver Spanish lessons for students in accordance with the school's curriculum and academic standards. Develop and implement creative and interactive teaching strategies to support all learning styles and levels (beginner to advanced). Assess, record, and report on students' progress and provide constructive feedback. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and respect. Incorporate technology and digital tools to enhance language learning. Organize and participate in cultural activities, events, and language clubs related to Spanish-speaking countries. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary learning experiences. Attend departmental and staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions. Stay current with new teaching methods, educational technologies, and developments in language education.
