We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Spa Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional spa services and a commitment to enhancing the overall guest experience. As a Spa Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering a variety of treatments, ensuring the highest standards of sanitation and customer service, and contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for our clients.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality spa treatments including deep tissue massage, body waxing, eyelash extensions, and dermal fillers.
Perform esthetic laser treatments and other advanced skin care services.
Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their needs and recommend appropriate services.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of treatment rooms and equipment in compliance with health regulations.
Manage front desk operations including appointment scheduling using salon software such as Millennium and MINDBODY.
Engage in retail sales by promoting products related to treatments performed.
Upsell additional services to enhance client satisfaction and experience.
Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and products through continuous education.
Assist with social media management by promoting services and showcasing client transformations.
Skills
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Proficiency in various spa techniques including hair styling, hair extensions, makeup application, tattooing, and nail care.
Knowledge of sanitation practices and safety protocols within a spa environment.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Experience in med spa settings is preferred, particularly with botulinum toxin treatment and dermabrasion techniques.
Ability to demonstrate product knowledge during product demos to encourage retail sales.
Familiarity with color theory as it relates to hair services is advantageous.
