Position Summary
The Spa Manager is responsible for overseeing all spa operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining high service standards, driving revenue, and managing the spa team. This role ensures smooth daily operations while delivering the luxury standards expected at a 5-star resort.
Key Responsibilities1. Operations Management
Oversee daily spa operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and ambiance across all spa areas.
Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of equipment, inventory, and supplies.
Coordinate with housekeeping, engineering, and other resort departments.
2. Guest Experience
Ensure outstanding guest service with personalized attention.
Address guest queries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism.
Promote spa services, wellness therapies, and signature experiences.
3. Team Leadership
Recruit, train, and supervise therapists, receptionists, and support staff.
Maintain duty rosters, grooming standards, and performance reviews.
Conduct daily briefings, training sessions, and motivation activities.
4. Sales & Revenue Management
Plan monthly promotions, packages, and campaigns to maximize revenue.
Drive sales targets for treatments, retail products, and memberships.
Review daily sales reports, productivity, and performance metrics.
Collaborate with marketing for promotional activities and visibility.
5. Financial & Administrative Duties
Prepare budgets and manage cost controls effectively.
Oversee stock levels, purchase orders, and vendor relationships.
Ensure compliance with resort policies, audits, and SOPs.
6. Quality & Standards
Maintain 5-star service standards in all guest interactions and treatment quality.
Conduct regular audits of treatment rooms, linens, products, and equipment.
Continuously implement and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
7. Health, Safety & Compliance
Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation protocols.
Maintain accurate records for hygiene, equipment maintenance, and staff training.
Oversee emergency procedures and ensure risk management practices are followed.
Skills & Qualifications Required
3-5 years of experience as a Spa Manager or Assistant Spa Manager in a luxury hotel or resort.
Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
Comprehensive knowledge of spa therapies, beauty treatments, and wellness programs.
Sales-driven mindset with strong understanding of spa revenue and financials.
Ability to handle guest concerns with grace, empathy, and professionalism.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities.
