SPA MANAGER - JOB PROFILE



Praveg's Beach Resort, Bangaram Island, Lakshadweep



Position Overview



The Spa Manager will oversee the complete operations of the luxury spa at Praveg's Beach Resort. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences, ensuring seamless operations, driving revenue growth, and maintaining high standards of hygiene, service, and professionalism in accordance with resort policies.

Key Responsibilities1. Operations Management



Oversee day-to-day spa operations including therapist scheduling, room readiness, hygiene, and SOP adherence. Ensure all therapy rooms, couple rooms, steam areas, and guest amenities meet luxury standards. Manage inventory of oils, linen, consumables, and spa equipment to avoid shortages.

2. Guest Experience



Welcome guests warmly and understand their preferences to recommend the most suitable treatments. Ensure consistent 5-star hospitality and personalized wellness experiences. Handle guest concerns and provide timely, professional resolutions.

3. Team Management



Lead, train, and motivate therapists and front-desk spa staff. Conduct grooming checks and ongoing skill enhancement training. Prepare weekly duty rosters and ensure full manpower availability at all times.

4. Sales & Revenue Development



Achieve monthly spa revenue targets including treatments, wellness packages, and retail. Plan promotions, island-exclusive experiences, and special offers for resort guests. Maintain accurate billing, daily sales reports, and MIS documentation.

5. Administration & Compliance



Ensure all spa licenses, safety standards, and hygiene protocols are strictly followed. Complete daily checklists, audits, and documentation as per resort guidelines. Coordinate efficiently with housekeeping, engineering, and front-office teams for operations.

6. Coordination with Resort Management



Report directly to the Resort General Manager / Operations Head. Participate in weekly departmental review meetings on revenue, guest feedback, and staff performance. Support resort events, beachfront spa activities, and wellness engagement programs.

Required Skills & Qualifications



Minimum

5-10 years of experience

in spa & wellness operations.

Fluency in Malayalam, Hindi, and English is mandatory.

Strong leadership, communication, and team-handling capabilities. Knowledge of Ayurveda, Balinese, Swedish, and other global therapies (preferred). Ability to manage multicultural teams in a remote island environment. Excellent grooming standards and strong guest relationship management.

Additional Expectations for Bangaram Island Posting



Willingness to stay and work on a remote island with limited connectivity. Ability to handle supply planning, logistics, and inventory for an island-based property. Experience managing VIP guests, long-stay guests, and peak-season operations. Flexible scheduling aligned with guest arrival timings and resort operations.

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
