Role Overview



The Spa Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the spa to ensure exceptional guest experiences, high service standards, and strong revenue performance. This role includes managing staff, maintaining spa ambiance, driving membership & service sales, handling client relations, and ensuring compliance with brand standards. The Spa Manager also plays a key role in meeting monthly sales targets through strategic promotions and customer engagement.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Management



Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the spa, including staff scheduling, guest handling, and service delivery. Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and ambiance in all treatment rooms and common areas as per brand standards. Monitor inventory, manage stock levels, and coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment. Oversee cash handling, billing accuracy, and daily reconciliation. Ensure equipment maintenance, safety standards, and compliance with operational policies.

Sales & Revenue Generation



Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for services, therapies, memberships, and retail products. Drive upselling and cross-selling during customer interactions and team briefings. Plan and execute in-house promotions, festive offers, and wellness packages. Track sales performance, prepare MIS reports, and implement strategies to improve revenue. Collaborate with marketing teams for local promotions and tie-ups.

Customer Service & Experience



Ensure exceptional guest experience and maintain high service satisfaction scores. Handle guest queries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally. Maintain strong guest relationships and promote loyalty programs. Coordinate special services for VIP clients and corporate guests.

Team Leadership & Training



Lead, motivate, and supervise spa therapists, front desk staff, and housekeeping teams. Conduct regular training on customer service, product knowledge, grooming, and sales techniques. Perform staff appraisals and support HR with recruitment for spa roles. Ensure team adherence to SOPs, grooming standards, and performance metrics.

Administrative & Compliance



Maintain accurate records for appointments, staff attendance, inventory, and equipment logs. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitization guidelines. Coordinate with HR for documentation, payroll inputs, and disciplinary processes. Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports for management review.

Qualifications & Skills



Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Wellness Management, or related field preferred. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in spa or wellness operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory/managerial role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proven sales skills and experience in meeting monthly targets. Good knowledge of spa therapies, wellness products, and operational standards. Customer-centric mindset with strong problem-solving abilities. Ability to lead and motivate diverse teams.
