Develop detailed piping designs and layouts using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SmartPlant 3D).
Understanding of various P&ID for Super critical Boilers.
Review clash check / review using SPR. Generating clash check reports for comment resolution.
Generation of inputs from 3D model for stress analysis. Interact with stress analysis team for optimization of routing with sufficient flexibility and support feasibility for an optimized routing.
Pipe Support modelling in SP3D as per stress analysis output.
Isometrics extraction. Manual updating of isometrics using Auto CAD / 2D MicroStation.
BOQ preparation, release of isometrics with Material Request, & EBOM etc.
Work closely with other Engineering group like Process, Layout, Structure, Pressure Part & electrical etc. for receiving various inputs required for developing clash-free piping designs.
Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including design calculations, material take-offs (MTO), and bill of materials (BOM).
Ensure all design changes and revisions are properly followed and Drawings are updated.
Perform self-checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of designs.
Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in piping design.
