1. Execute Assigned Controls

Perform the control activities as defined in the SOX control framework (e.g., reconciliations, approvals, reviews). Ensure controls are executed accurately and timely within the reporting period.

2. Documentation

Maintain clear and complete evidence of control performance (e.g., screenshots, reports, sign-offs). Ensure documentation meets audit standards for completeness and accuracy.

3. Compliance with Policies

Follow company policies and SOX guidelines during control execution. Ensure segregation of duties and proper authorization levels.

4. Issue Identification & Escalation

Identify any control deficiencies or exceptions during execution. Escalate issues promptly to management or SOX compliance team.

5. Support Testing & Audits

Provide evidence and explanations to internal/external auditors during SOX testing. Respond to audit queries in a timely and accurate manner.

6. Continuous Improvement

Suggest improvements to control processes for efficiency and effectiveness. Stay updated on changes in SOX requirements and company policies.
