Key Responsibilities
Prepare authentic South Indian dishes such as idli, dosa, vada, sambar, chutneys, upma, rice varieties, and curries
Cook meals in bulk while maintaining taste, quality, and consistency
Plan daily menus as per company guidelines and employee preferences
Ensure timely preparation and service of breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times
Follow food safety, health, and hygiene standards
Monitor food stock, ingredients, and assist with inventory management
Minimize food wastage and use ingredients efficiently
Coordinate with kitchen helpers and canteen staff
Follow corporate canteen rules and SOPs
Requirements & Qualifications
Proven experience as a South Indian Cook (preferably in corporate canteen, hotel, or any kitchen)
Strong knowledge of traditional South Indian cuisine
Ability to cook in large quantities
Knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices
Physically fit and able to work long hours if required
Team player with a disciplined and responsible attitude
