Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and passionate South Indian DCDP to join our culinary team at Peninsula Redpine Hotel. The candidate will specialize in authentic South Indian cuisine, ensuring consistency, taste, and quality while maintaining hygiene and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook authentic South Indian dishes as per the menu and guest preferences.
Assist the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
Maintain proper portion control and minimize food wastage.
Monitor inventory of South Indian ingredients and assist in requisition planning.
Train and guide Commis and junior kitchen staff in South Indian cuisine.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hotel policies.
Handle guest special requests related to South Indian dishes efficiently.
Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in South Indian cuisine at a reputed hotel or restaurant.
Strong knowledge of traditional South Indian dishes, spices, and cooking methods.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Culinary diploma or certification preferred.
