DOSA 99 is launching a new South Indian Quick Service Restaurant in Kolkata. We are hiring an experienced

South Indian Cook

who can independently handle preparation and cooking of authentic South Indian dishes in a fast-paced QSR environment.

This role is critical to maintaining food quality, consistency, and speed of service.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook various types of

Dosas

,

Idlis

,

Vadas

,

Uttapams

, and related South Indian snacks Prepare and manage

batter fermentation

, chutneys, sambhar, and accompaniments Ensure

taste consistency

, portion control, and hygiene standards Work efficiently in a

high-volume QSR setup

Maintain kitchen cleanliness and follow food safety norms Coordinate with outlet staff during peak hours Assist in inventory usage and wastage control Prepare SOP for these items.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum

5 years of experience

as a South Indian Cook Hands-on expertise in

dosa varieties & other South Indian Foods

(plain, masala, butter, paneer, etc.) Experience in

QSR or high-footfall outlets preferred

Ability to work under pressure and manage peak-hour rush Basic understanding of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen discipline Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and holidays

DOSA 99 is a value-driven South Indian QSR brand focused on delivering authentic taste at affordable prices with fast service. We plan to open 50 stores in Kolkata, Silliguri, Asansol, Durgapur, Bhubaneswar, Ranchi & Guwahati by March 2027.
