Key Responsibilities:
Preparation and Cooking:
Prepare and cook a full range of authentic South Indian dishes, including, but not limited to,
dosas, idlis, vadas, sambar, chutneys, different types of rice preparations (e.g., biryani, lemon rice), and regional curries.
Menu Adherence:
Follow standardized recipes and presentation standards to ensure consistent quality and flavor.
Ingredient Management:
Manage kitchen inventory, ensuring all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and used efficiently.
Hygiene and Safety:
Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and kitchen hygiene
Adaptability:
Prepare meals according to dietary restrictions or customer requests (e.g., vegan, gluten-free, spice levels).
Qualifications:
Proven experience
of 3+ years as a Cook or Chef specializing in South Indian cuisine.
Expert knowledge of various South Indian spices and regional cooking styles.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
A strong commitment to food quality and presentation.
