Key Responsibilities:
Prepare authentic South Indian dishes such as idli, dosa, vada, sambar, rasam, and rice items
Ensure food is cooked in a hygienic and timely manner
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and work area at all times
Follow hospital dietary guidelines and portion control
Manage daily kitchen operations and assist in menu planning
Ensure proper storage of raw materials and cooked food
Coordinate with helpers and kitchen staff for smooth operations
Requirements:
Proven experience as a South Indian Chef
Knowledge of hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards
Ability to cook in large quantities (canteen/hospital experience preferred)
Physically fit and able to work in shifts
