Key Responsibilities

Prepare a wide range of authentic South Indian dishes, including but not limited to Dosas, Idlis, Vadas, Uttapams, a variety of curries, chutneys, sambar, and traditional sweets. Ensure all food is prepared according to company recipes and quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workstation, adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations. Manage inventory of ingredients and report needs to the kitchen supervisor. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service. Innovate and suggest new South Indian dishes or variations to enhance our menu.

Who We're Looking For

Experience:

Proven experience as a South Indian Cook in a reputable restaurant, catering service, or food production company.

Knowledge:

In-depth knowledge of various South Indian culinary techniques, spices, and regional specialties.

Passion:

A genuine passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering authentic flavors.

Hygiene:

Strong understanding and strict adherence to food safety and sanitation practices.

Team Player:

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.

Flexibility:

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
