We are seeking a skilled and passionate South Indian Commis Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in preparing authentic South Indian dishes such as dosa, idli, vada, sambar, chutneys, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook South Indian breakfast and meals as per standard recipes
Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards
Ensure timely preparation and service of dishes
Manage ingredients, storage, and mise en place
Follow kitchen protocols and maintain discipline in the kitchen
Requirements:
Proven experience in preparing South Indian cuisine
Ability to work early morning shifts and in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of hygiene and kitchen safety practices
Team player with a positive attitude
Willingness to learn and grow under senior chefs
