South Indian & Chinese Vegetarian Chef
to bring excellence to our kitchen.
Role Overview
The ideal candidate will be a master of both
authentic South Indian cuisine
and
vegetarian Chinese dishes
, able to craft menus, maintain taste consistency, and lead the kitchen team to deliver high-quality dining experiences that reflect our brand promise.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, cook, and present authentic vegetarian South Indian dishes and Chinese vegetarian preparations
Develop and update menus to include seasonal specials and new dishes while maintaining traditional favorites
Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation across all dishes
Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness as per FSSAI regulations
Train, guide, and supervise kitchen staff in preparation techniques and quality standards
Manage inventory, source fresh ingredients, and minimize wastage
Coordinate with management on food costing, portion control, and profitability targets
Innovate new recipes to attract and retain customers while staying aligned with the vegetarian-only philosophy
Requirements
12+ years
of culinary experience in professional kitchens, with expertise in South Indian and Chinese vegetarian cuisine
Deep knowledge of regional spices, traditional cooking techniques, and Chinese vegetarian preparation styles
Proven leadership skills in managing a kitchen team and high-volume operations
Strong focus on consistency, quality, and customer satisfaction
Knowledge of food cost control, portion management, and kitchen inventory systems
Ability to work under pressure during peak hours
Fluency in English or Kannada preferred; Hindi is an added advantage
