Job Summary:



We are looking for an experienced and passionate

South Indian Chef

to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in preparing authentic South Indian dishes, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. You will be responsible for creating high-quality meals, maintaining kitchen hygiene standards, and delivering consistent taste and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:



Prepare and cook a wide range of

authentic South Indian dishes

including dosa, idli, vada, sambhar, rasam, pongal, biryani, chettinad curries, etc. Ensure all food is prepared and presented in a

timely, hygienic, and appealing manner

. Maintain quality and consistency of flavor, texture, and appearance.

Plan and update menus

regularly based on customer preferences and seasonal availability. Manage kitchen inventory,

order supplies

, and minimize food waste. Train and supervise junior kitchen staff in

traditional South Indian cooking techniques

. Ensure compliance with

food safety standards

and kitchen cleanliness protocols. Monitor portion control and maintain

cost efficiency

.
