Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook authentic South Indian dishes (breakfast, lunch, and dinner items).
Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
Innovate new dishes and ensure menu variety.
Supervise kitchen staff and ensure proper food preparation standards.
Maintain cleanliness and compliance with hotel hygiene and safety standards.
Manage inventory, stock rotation, and food cost control.
Work closely with the Head Chef and F&B team for smooth kitchen operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a South Indian Chef in a reputed hotel or restaurant.
Expertise in popular dishes such as dosa, idli, vada, sambhar, rasam, chutneys, etc.
Strong knowledge of regional spices and ingredients.
Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
Culinary diploma or equivalent certification preferred.
