Chef de Partie (CDP) / Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) - South Indian Cuisine
We are seeking skilled and passionate
CDPs/DCDPs
to join our
South Indian kitchen team
. The role involves preparing, cooking, and presenting authentic South Indian dishes while maintaining the highest standards of taste, hygiene, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, and garnish a wide range of South Indian dishes (idli, dosa, vada, pongal, sambar, chutneys, meals, etc.).
Ensure consistency in taste, portion, and presentation as per restaurant standards.
Assist in planning daily mise-en-place and kitchen prep.
Maintain proper hygiene, sanitation, and safety in the South Indian section.
Supervise Commis chefs, provide training, and delegate tasks efficiently (for CDP).
Monitor inventory, minimize wastage, and assist in ordering raw materials.
Work closely with Kitchen Supervisor to maintain quality and introduce new items.
Requirements:
Proven experience as CDP/DCDP in South Indian cuisine.
Strong knowledge of traditional South Indian recipes and cooking techniques.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with leadership skills (for CDP).
Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and festive rush hours.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
