to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of traditional South Indian cuisines such as Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra, Telangana, and Karnataka dishes, and the ability to create authentic flavors while maintaining high quality and consistency.
Prepare, cook, and present authentic South Indian dishes (e.g., dosa, idli, vada, sambar, rasam, chutneys, biryani, curries, etc.) with attention to taste and presentation.
Develop and standardize recipes to maintain consistency across all dishes.
Ensure the use of fresh ingredients and maintain hygiene and food safety standards as per FSSAI or local regulations.
Manage inventory and kitchen supplies efficiently; minimize wastage.
Train and supervise junior kitchen staff and ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Innovate and introduce new South Indian dishes or fusion recipes to enhance the menu.
Coordinate with management for menu planning, costing, and seasonal specials.
Maintain cleanliness, order, and discipline in the kitchen area.
