Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a wide variety of
South Indian dishes
including dosas, idlis, vadas, sambar, rasam, chutneys, biryanis, poriyals, and more.
Maintain
authentic taste and presentation
standards across all dishes.
Develop and update the
South Indian menu
based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Monitor food preparation and portion sizes to maintain
cost control and minimize waste
.
Ensure
kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety
standards are followed according to health regulations.
Train and supervise junior kitchen staff on South Indian culinary techniques and practices.
Maintain inventory and manage procurement of South Indian spices and ingredients.
Collaborate with restaurant management for special events or promotions involving South Indian cuisine.
