South Indian Chef
to join our kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook authentic South Indian dishes including dosa, idli, vada, sambar, rasam, chutneys, and various regional specialties.
Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness.
Monitor food stock and supplies, ensuring freshness and minimizing waste.
Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and enhance the South Indian menu offerings.
Train and guide junior kitchen staff where needed.
Ensure timely service during breakfast, lunch, and dinner operations.
Requirements:
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in preparing South Indian cuisine in a hotel or reputed restaurant.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong knowledge of traditional South Indian ingredients, spices, and cooking methods.
Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and holidays.
Formal culinary training is an advantage but not mandatory.
