We are seeking a skilled and dedicated South Indian Chef (CDP) for a resort in Andaman. The candidate will be responsible for preparing authentic South Indian dishes while maintaining high standards of taste, hygiene, and presentation suitable for a resort environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and present authentic South Indian cuisine (breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus).
Plan daily mise-en-place and ensure timely food preparation.
Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and portion control.
Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness standards.
Assist in menu planning and suggest new dishes as per guest preferences.
Coordinate with kitchen team for smooth operations and service delivery.
Monitor raw material usage and minimize wastage.
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in South Indian cuisine.
Prior experience in hotels or resorts preferred.
Good knowledge of traditional recipes and modern presentation.
Ability to work in a remote location and manage work pressure.
Team-oriented, disciplined, and quality-focused.
