Role Summary:
The Sous Chef supports the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene. This role involves supervising kitchen staff, managing inventory, and contributing to menu development.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in food preparation, cooking, and plating.
Supervise and train kitchen team members.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control.
Support menu planning and innovation.
Lead kitchen operations in the Executive Chef's absence.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of professional kitchen experience; 1+ year in a leadership role.
Culinary degree or relevant training preferred.
Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
