We're looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team for our newly opened restaurant with restobar in Trivandrum. The Sous Chef will assist the Executive Chef in managing the kitchen, overseeing food preparation, and ensuring high-quality dishes are delivered to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations
2. Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating
3. Maintain high food quality and presentation standards
4. Supervise and train kitchen staff
5. Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control
6. Ensure kitchen safety and hygiene standards are met
7. Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless service
Requirements:
1. Culinary degree or equivalent experience
2. 8+ years of kitchen experience, preferably in a fine dining or high-volume restaurant
3. Strong leadership and communication skills
4. Ability to work under pressure and multitask
5. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
