Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations in a five-star hotel environment. The role focuses on delivering exceptional food quality, leading kitchen teams, and upholding CGH Earth's values of sustainability, authenticity, and guest-centric hospitality.
Candidates should be willing to come to Kochi for a food trial.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing daily kitchen operations across outlets and banquets
Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards
Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff
Maintain HACCP, food safety, and cleanliness standards
Control food costs, inventory, and minimize wastage
Ensure smooth service during high-volume operations and events
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management
8-10 years of experience in a five-star hotel or luxury resort
Strong leadership and team management skills
Knowledge of sustainable and regional cuisine preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced, luxury hospitality environment
