to lead and manage the entire kitchen operations at Mai Kai. This is a leadership role with end-to-end responsibility for food production, staff management, quality control, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead daily kitchen operations, including food prep, service, and overall kitchen workflow
Manage and train a team of chefs, commis, and kitchen support staff
Plan and update multi-cuisine menus in line with seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
Monitor food cost, wastage, inventory, and supplier relationships
Enforce high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety
Collaborate with management on guest feedback and kitchen efficiency
Innovate new dishes and elevate the existing menu
Requirements:
Degree/Diploma in Culinary Arts
Minimum 4 years of experience in a senior role (Sous Chef, Sr. CDP, or Kitchen In-Charge)
Expertise in Continental and Asian cooking styles, with a strong grasp of Indian fusion
Proven ability to lead a team and run an independent kitchen catering to Residential resort guests, Banquets, Events, Walk-ins, Weddings, etc
Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills
Passionate about food quality, creativity, and continuous improvement

Pay: ₹32,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
