Global Supplier Services (GSS)

JPMorgan Chase seeks to do business with suppliers who provide the best price, quality and capability to meet our business needs. With nearly 1000 team members in over 15 countries, our Global Supplier Services (GSS) organization works proactively with line of business colleagues to identify capable suppliers, lead the competitive sourcing process and negotiate and contract with the chosen suppliers. Leveraging firm-wide buying power and controlling risk are consistent overarching goals. GSS then ensures that the contracted goods and services can be obtained by our employees in an efficient, cost-effective manner globally.

Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)

The Supplier Relationship Management function within GSS partners with all lines of business to ensure that JPMC is realizing maximum value from relationships with third parties. This involves design and launch of a firm wide program to strategically manage and govern these important relationships as well as partnership with the Corporate and Investment Bank, Commercial Bank, Asset Management and Consumer Bank to help coordinate around these relationships to protect and potentially broaden and leverage them.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Front Office Relationship Management Program (FO RM) Director in SRM, the primary function of the Program Analyst role is to support program and strategy execution as well as day to day operations of the Front Office Relationship Management program in partnership with Sourcing and all SRM team members. This consists of helping to develop, implement, and drive program strategy and planning, the development and management of a project plan that delivers on the program objectives, creation of collateral and reporting that enables the team to measure and socialize program objectives and accomplishments, analysis and delivery of program work streams, and the planning and execution of communication and engagement activities to promote the program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to define and implement strategies and related collateral and reporting that encompasses all aspects of the program
  • Support the Program Director in engaging with all other relevant teams within GSS and LOBs to ensure the appropriate delivery occurs
  • Act as a 'right hand' to the Program Director ensuring follow through on all commitments and the appropriate level of engagement with all LOBs and heads of businesses
  • Develop and lead execution of a communications and engagement plan for the program
  • Develop and own management of a plan that ensures transparency and team delivery of all program commitments
  • Support the team in creation of top notch collateral to leverage to socialize the program strategy and accomplishments
  • Help to develop the appropriate governance and communications framework to ensure the right level of stakeholder engagement
  • Perform all responsibilities in line with policies and procedures agreed with legal and compliance
Skills and Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience, ideally coupled with stakeholder management, commercial management, third party relationship engagement (client or supplier) experience
  • Proven track record driving a change agenda
  • Very strong project management skills
  • Very strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Data visualization experience is a plus
  • Extremely strong strategy, communications skills enabling the team to tell its story (verbally and written)
  • Must be confident -- possessing a strength of personality and intellect to gain the respect of demanding business heads, stakeholders, team members
