We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sourcing First Mile Operations Executive to manage purchase order coordination, vendor interactions, and inbound logistics. This role plays a critical part in ensuring timely deliveries, accurate tracking, and smooth operational flow between vendors and our warehouse team.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor Coordination & PO Tracking
Conduct regular follow-ups with vendors for timely Purchase Order (PO) fulfillment.
Track PO status, identify delays or exceptions, and escalate when required.
Maintain vendor performance metrics (accuracy, timelines, issue logs).
Issue Resolution & Cross-functional Coordination
Provide early alerts on vendor delays, mismatches, and bottlenecks.
Collaborate with the Warehouse (WH) team to ensure timely goods receipt.
Act as the primary point of contact for resolving stuck or delayed PO cases.
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain accurate documentation of POs, shipment updates, delivery timelines, and delays.
Prepare weekly dashboards/reports on PO status, vendor performance, and issue closures.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business Management, or related field.
2-4 years of experience in sourcing, logistics coordination, or supply chain operations.
Strong communication, follow-up, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and basic ERP systems.
High attention to detail with a proactive problem-solving approach.
Preferred Attributes
Experience in fashion, jewellery, retail, or e-commerce.
Understanding of first-mile operations and procurement cycle.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
