Identify and analyze relevant
defence procurement opportunities
on GeM and other government tender platforms.
Prepare and submit
technical and financial bids
as per GeM/Defence tender requirements.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders (technical, finance, logistics) to ensure timely and compliant bid submission.
Liaise with
defence departments, PSUs, and government buyers
for tender clarifications, order follow-up, and contract execution.
Maintain updated records of
GeM transactions
, order status, payment follow-ups, and vendor/buyer communications.
Ensure compliance with
Defence Procurement Policy (DPP)
,
GFR
, and other relevant government procurement guidelines.
Analyze market trends, vendor performance, and cost-saving opportunities for strategic sourcing.
Support vendor registration, product catalog management, and documentation on GeM.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum
2-5 years
of experience in
government or defence sourcing
, with at least
2 years of hands-on experience on the GeM portal

Strong knowledge of
GeM bidding procedures

reverse auctions
, and
order management
.
Familiarity with
defence procurement processes
, tender documentation, and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in
