Manage end-to-end

sourcing and procurement activities

through the

GeM portal

, including product listing, bidding, reverse auctions, and order processing. Identify and analyze relevant

defence procurement opportunities

on GeM and other government tender platforms. Prepare and submit

technical and financial bids

as per GeM/Defence tender requirements. Coordinate with internal stakeholders (technical, finance, logistics) to ensure timely and compliant bid submission. Liaise with

defence departments, PSUs, and government buyers

for tender clarifications, order follow-up, and contract execution. Maintain updated records of

GeM transactions

, order status, payment follow-ups, and vendor/buyer communications. Ensure compliance with

Defence Procurement Policy (DPP)

,

GFR

, and other relevant government procurement guidelines. Analyze market trends, vendor performance, and cost-saving opportunities for strategic sourcing. Support vendor registration, product catalog management, and documentation on GeM.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum

2-5 years

of experience in

government or defence sourcing

, with at least

2 years of hands-on experience on the GeM portal

. Strong knowledge of

GeM bidding procedures

,

reverse auctions

, and

order management

. Familiarity with

defence procurement processes

, tender documentation, and compliance requirements. Proficiency in

MS Excel
