Position - Sourcing - Consumables

Designation - Sr. Engineer/ Engineer

Qualification - BE - Mech / B. Tech

Location - Mysore (Karnataka)

Responsibilities -

Procure indirect consumables for fabrication such as welding wires, electrodes, gases, cutting tools, grinding wheels, lubricants, chemicals, PPE, and shop-floor items

Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers for fabrication consumables

Negotiate prices, contracts, and commercial terms to achieve cost reduction targets

Plan and control inventory levels to avoid shortages and excess stock

Ensure consumables meet quality, technical, safety, and OEM/IATF requirements

Coordinate with fabrication, welding, maintenance, and production teams for demand planning

Monitor and improve supplier performance on quality, cost, and delivery

Manage purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and procurement documentation

Analyze consumption trends and implement cost optimization and waste reduction initiatives

Ensure compliance with statutory, environmental, safety, and sustainability requirements

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
