Develop and implement sourcing strategies to meet business objectives, ensuring cost savings, quality improvements, and increased efficiency.

Key Skills Required

Strong knowledge of yarn, fabric, and textile raw materials. Good negotiation and vendor management skills. Excellent coordination and communication across departments. Exposure to certified textile sourcing (GOTS / BCI / OCS / GRS) preferred. Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP or MIS tools for reporting. Leadership and team management abilities.

Qualification & Experience

Any Degree 5 to 7 years of experience in textile sourcing, purchase, or supply chain functions. Experience in Grey Fabric production-oriented textile units preferred.

Ensure 100% on-time procurement of all yarns, fabrics, and related materials. Source and develop new suppliers & subcontractors (Sizing, Weaving, Dyeing, Stitching, etc.) to meet production needs. Manage vendor relationships through effective communication, negotiation, and contract management to drive mutual benefit agreements. Ensure timely receipt of all Transaction Certificates (TC) for certified orders (GOTS, OCS, GRS, RCS, Fair Trade, BCI, CMIA). Prepare and maintain a Supplier Data Bank with detailed vendor and material information. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet those needs. Evaluate supplier/subcontractor performance and recommend Green Channel Partner (GCP) status for qualified partners. Track and review team KPI performance, ensuring continuous improvement Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance overall performance.
