We are seeking a skilled and dedicated

Sound Technician Cum IT Technician

to join our team at Shishuvan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all sound and IT-related technical aspects, ensuring seamless operation of audio systems during events as well as providing IT support for day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Sound Technician Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and maintain sound equipment (microphones, amplifiers, mixers, speakers) for events and daily activities. Monitor and adjust sound levels during events to ensure optimal audio quality. Troubleshoot sound-related technical issues during live events or regular usage. Maintain inventory of sound equipment and coordinate repairs as needed.

IT Technician Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day IT support, including hardware and software troubleshooting. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and peripherals. Manage backups, updates, antivirus, and security protocols for computers and network. Assist in setting up projectors, audio-visual systems, printers, and other IT devices. Help staff resolve basic IT issues and train them on usage when required.

Required Qualifications:

Diploma or degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a Sound Technician and/or IT Technician (minimum 2 years preferred). Good understanding of sound system components and computer networks. Hands-on experience with sound mixing consoles, amplifiers, and computer systems. Basic knowledge of troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Attributes:

Ability to work under pressure during events. Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks. Willingness to work flexible hours during events.
