Role Summary

The Sound In-Charge is responsible for managing, operating, and maintaining the school's sound system and ensuring clear and uninterrupted audio during assemblies, events, classes, and special programs.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate the PA system, microphones, speakers, mixers, and amplifiers Conduct sound checks before assemblies, events, and functions Ensure clear sound output and adjust audio levels as required Handle wired and wireless microphones and prevent feedback or interference Monitor sound during live programs and resolve technical issues immediately Coordinate with teachers, students, and event organizers for audio requirements Maintain, store, and regularly check sound equipment for proper functioning Switch off, disconnect, and safely store equipment after use Report equipment damage or technical issues to the school administration

Skills & Competencies

Basic knowledge of sound systems and audio equipment Ability to troubleshoot common sound issues Good listening skills and attention to detail Calm and responsible approach during live events Teamwork and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in handling sound systems (school or event-based) Basic training in audio or sound operations (preferred but not mandatory) some from IT background

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
