To drive cattle feed sales in the assigned area by managing and developing distributor networks, motivating the sales team, ensuring product availability, and achieving sales targets while building strong farmer, dealer, and retailer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for cattle feed products in the assigned territory.
Appoint, manage, and motivate distributors, dealers, and retailers.
Guide and support Sales Officers / Field Staff in daily activities and performance.
Conduct field visits to monitor market activities, competitor actions, and customer needs.
Build strong relationships with farmers, veterinarians, and channel partners to increase product demand.
Plan and execute farmer meetings, demos, and promotional campaigns.
Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to credit policies.
Prepare and share periodic MIS reports on sales performance and market insights.
Train and develop field teams to enhance productivity and market penetration.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of
cattle feed industry, dairy farming practices, and rural markets.
Good communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Ability to motivate and manage field sales teams.
