Job Description

Responsibilities: Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts, considering historical data, seasonality, and external factors.
Translate demand forecasts into production plans, considering capacity constraints and material availability.
Create detailed production schedules, ensuring timely and efficient execution of the plan.
Analyze production capacity and identify potential bottlenecks to optimize resource allocation and ensure on-time delivery.
Manage inventory levels to balance customer service with holding costs, considering lead times and safety stock requirements.
Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment and consensus on the production plan.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the planning and control cycle.
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of S&OP and PPC processes and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Must:

• BE / B. Tech Mechanical / Electrical Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Supply Chain Management / Operations Management

Desirable
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in planning and scheduling software.
Experience in working with MRP or ERP systems.
Must:

• BE - Minimum of 10 year's related experience

Experience in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Production Planning & Control (PPC).
Desirable:

• Working Experience in Defence Sector
• Ammunition or related industry experience.
