Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled 2D Echo Technician to perform echocardiography procedures and assist cardiologists in diagnosing and managing heart conditions. The technician will operate echocardiography equipment, capture high-quality images, and ensure accurate documentation of findings.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform 2D, M-mode, Doppler, and color flow echocardiography examinations as per physician orders. Prepare and position patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort. Capture accurate cardiac images and measurements of heart chambers, valves, and blood flow. Record and maintain patient data and preliminary reports for cardiologist review. Operate, maintain, and ensure proper calibration of echocardiography equipment. Adhere to hospital protocols, safety guidelines, and infection control measures. Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff to provide optimal patient care. Maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Eligibility & Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Cardiac Technology, Echocardiography, or a related field. Certification in echocardiography is preferred. Experience in cardiac diagnostic procedures is an advantage but not mandatory.
