  • The Solutions Engineer (SE) is a highly skilled, customer-focused technical sales professional who provides dedicated, in-depth technical guidance and implementation support to a single customer.
  • Acting as a trusted technical advisor, the SE demonstrates deep knowledge across our client broad product portfolio-including software and services-with expertise in specific technical specializations.
  • The SE collaborates closely with the broader sales ecosystem on strategic and complex opportunities, coordinates additional technical resources, and helps align our client solutions to the customer's business goals.
Responsibilities:
  • Creating Business Relevance: Translate technical capabilities into business outcomes that align with the customer's strategic goals.
  • Solution and Architectural Selling: Provide a sophisticated architectural perspective across the our client portfolio, including networking, security, data center, and software solutions.
  • Building Competitive Intelligence: Understand market trends, analyze competitors, and highlight our client competitive advantages.
  • Optimizing Sales Performance: Drive technical excellence during the sales cycle to help the account team meet and exceed sales objectives.
  • Working Across Boundaries: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including account managers, consulting specialists, demo labs, and others to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Driving the our client Vision: Act as a technology leader who can communicate our client value, innovation, and future roadmap to customers.
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for the customer, fostering long-term relationships and trust.
  • Identify, develop, and propose solutions and services offerings that meet customer needs.
  • Lead and conduct architectural workshops, proof of concepts (PoCs), and technical demos.
  • Mentor and support the customer's technical teams in solution design and implementation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • 10-15 years of technical sales experience in the field as a Systems Engineer or equivalent role.
  • Deep expertise in Networking (LAN/WAN/WLAN), Security, and Datacenter technologies (including virtualization, compute, and storage).
  • Proven ability to build relationships and credibility with both technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate and take initiative as a self-starter.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • High level of personal integrity and professionalism in daily performance.
