About the role

As a Solutions & Demo Engineer, you'll be part of the Sales Engineering organisation supporting the growth of Virtuoso. To be considered for this opportunity, you'll have demonstrable experience in the following areas, and preferably within software testing, quality assurance products and technologies aligned to DevOps/Agile practices (open to skilled individuals from other SaaS, Cloud related offerings):

The list of duties is not exhaustive and is subject to change. The Solutions & Demo Engineer will carry out the following tasks.

Oversee pilot demonstration builds for the automated testing of web applications
Use Javascript skills to create extensions as required for automated tests
Track and report on pilot statuses in existing trials & proof of value management tools, including getting updates from the trials & proof of values team and reporting to the wider management team.
Prepare trials & proof of value planning and management documentation
Create demonstrations for use by themselves and Sales Engineers to show features and capabilities of the the Virtuoso platform
Map & build demonstrations related to specific go to market solutions (SAP 4/hana, Salesforce, Adobe AEM, ServiceNow, low code business apps and more)
Hands on assistance/contribution with projects as required, including engaging with prospects as part of trials & proof of values.
Input and helping to craft technical sales collateral
Prioritise and balance deliverables across multiple trials & proof of values and Sales engineering related demos & projects
Lead initiatives to ensure Sales Engineers and other GTM resources are kept up to speed with platform capabilities

• 3-5 years experience within the QA domain
• Demonstrable experience with QA processes especially for testing browser based applications and APIs
• Would suit a tester who has been focused on functional UI & API tests for system testing, UAT, smoke testing, regression testing
• Ability to learn new SaaS technologies quickly
• Can work within a team environment and also with a wider sales & presales environment that is fast moving, but highly enjoyable!
• Great communication skills - would suit someone who has L1 support type experience
• Automation skills a bonus, but not necessary
• Basic Javascript skills a bonus, but not necessary
