Role Overview

Walbrydge is seeking a senior Solutions Architect to own and drive the end-to-end technical architecture of a large-scale, multi-module enterprise ecosystem. This role is pivotal in designing a unified, scalable, and secure platform that supports complex workflows, real-time systems, analytics, and future extensibility.

You will act as the architectural authority, setting technical direction, defining system boundaries, and guiding multiple engineering teams toward a cohesive platform vision.

Responsibilities

Architect the

entire ecosystem platform

, including web applications, backend services, mobile systems, dashboards, and real-time processing layers. Define

system blueprints

, domain models, module boundaries, data flows, and inter-service communication patterns. Evaluate and select

technology stacks

, architectural frameworks, and integration strategies aligned with long-term scalability. Design

cloud-native, fault-tolerant architectures

, leveraging microservices, event-driven systems, and serverless patterns where appropriate. Lead

architectural governance

, solution reviews, and critical technical decision-making across teams. Collaborate closely with

Product, Backend, Frontend, Mobile, Security, and DevOps

teams to ensure architectural consistency. Own platform-level

performance, scalability, security, and resilience strategies

. Create and maintain

technical documentation

, architecture diagrams, and system specifications. Ensure adherence to

engineering best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles

across the platform.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven expertise in

large-scale distributed systems

and enterprise-grade platform architecture. Strong experience designing

API-first architectures

, event-driven systems, and asynchronous workflows. Deep hands-on knowledge of

microservices architecture

, CQRS, message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ), caching strategies, and service orchestration. Extensive experience with

cloud platforms

such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including networking, security, and scalability design. Strong understanding of

data architecture

, including SQL, NoSQL, time-series databases, and geolocation-based data systems. Demonstrated experience leading

multi-team engineering initiatives

and delivering complex platform builds. Ability to balance

technical depth with business alignment
