As a Solution Engineer \xe2\x80\x93 Android Mobile Applications you will join a highly skilled software team in delivering innovative mobile and web applications that make up CNH Industrial\xe2\x80\x99s next generation digital platform for customer outreach and engagement.

This is an excellent opportunity to join the technology revolution currently taking place across the agricultural industry and work with highly skilled and talented people in a global, diversified company. You will be working closely with product management, UX designers and developers for the design, development, testing and deployment of our next generation and existing applications, portals to realize the corporate vision and strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Work in a team or individually to design, develop and test software for cloud, web and mobile.

\xc2\xb7 Design, develop, test and document quality software to meet user and functional requirements within specified times and in accordance with CNHI coding standards.

\xc2\xb7 Generate rapid prototypes for feasibility testing.

\xc2\xb7 Generate all documentation relevant to software operation.

\xc2\xb7 Adhere to prescribed development systems, process, and ensure efficient, effective, high-quality delivery.

\xc2\xb7 Contribute to the improvement of development systems, processes, procedures.

\xc2\xb7 Contribute to growing team members, building a strong cohesive team; provide guidance, mentorship

\xc2\xb7 Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.

\xc2\xb7 Perform tasks as specified by the Delivery Lead/Team Lead

\xc2\xb7 Other related duties as required.

Competencies

Qualifications and/or Experience

\xc2\xa7 Bachelor\'s or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from an accredited university

\xc2\xa7 10-15+ years of industry experience, with profound knowledge of available technologies, mobile apps architecture, technical design and implementation, Customer experience

\xc2\xa7 Experience in designing and building complex, scalable, and reliable SDK\xe2\x80\x99s

\xc2\xa7 Experience in working on large codebases and continuous build and deployment processes

\xc2\xa7 Proficiency in one or more languages: Java, Kotlin

\xc2\xa7 Extensive knowledge of mobile application development practices tailored to deliver best in class experience to customers

\xc2\xa7 Well-developed problem analysis and problem-solving techniques.

\xc2\xa7 Team player who is self-motivated and has ability to work with minimal supervision.

\xc2\xa7 Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.

Computer Skills

Mandatory

\xc2\xa7 Proficient with Kotlin or Java, SwiftUI

\xc2\xa7 Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes

\xc2\xa7 Working knowledge of Android internals, Android UI (User Interface) design principles, patterns, and best practices to help build high-performance apps with a low footprint.

\xc2\xa7 Experience building Android apps from scratch with a strong focus on architecture.

\xc2\xa7 Familiar with MVP, MVVM, VIPER, etc.

\xc2\xa7 Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.

\xc2\xa7 Experience with third-party libraries, APIs (Application Programming Interface), web services, and JSON, e. g. Dagger, Rxjava, Retrofit, GSON, Jackson, etc.

\xc2\xa7 Hands-on knowledge working with Junit, and Mockito.

\xc2\xa7 Have a strong knowledge of threading, concurrency, scaling, and high availability.

Highly Desirable:

\xc2\xa7 Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred

\xc2\xa7 Knowledge of Testing Tools/frameworks such as Appium
