Hybrid Working We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally are able to request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances These requests will be reviewed and agreed for a period of time i.e., will have a start and end date. Introduction: In the current situation of ODS, RTDE, BNE, OTP, Alerts & Notifications and NGCB the demand across POD it is inevitable to have a Senior Ab Initio Developer / Designer covering Architectural changes, design, Infrastructure requirements, Code reviews and mentoring junior resources. The Real Time applications mentioned above are the top Tier-1 applications with demand for platform enhancements like AWS migration, RESCAT0, Risk & Control and POD outcome-based Programmes like NGCB-ED, Product Tech., Open Banking, BFA, Fraud Tech., Fin-Crime and Anti-Fraud, Finance Coach and Non-POD based programmes under Corporate, Wealth areas. The role demands an understanding of Real Time Platform architecture across these areas and strengthening and stabilizing the platform by actively participating / contributing for the areas mentioned above. Also Real Time Platform is being built as a new platform with Open Source technologies where an ETL Designer role is key. What will you be doing . Accountability, ownership for design changes, design documentation and Infrastructure requirements. . Accountability, influence on policies for Data Security Requirements. . Ownership of Data strategy, Platforms strategy, ETL tool strategy. . Influence on selection of new technologies. . Decisions on decommissioning, upgrading and creating new Technology assets. . Strong hold on Ab Initio with capability to mentor, review code and design and hands-on when needed. What we\'re looking for: . Good understanding of Data integration patterns and business processes. . Understanding of various Application integration patterns such as Batch (ETL), Online (Web Services etc.), Synchronous (request/response), Asynchronous (event based, fire and Forget) and propose suitable technical pattern to fulfil Business function. . Strong hold on Batch and Real Time ETL technology i.e. Ab Initio. . Ability to drive and own design changes, design documents and Infrastructure requirements. . Proven ability to manage and resolve complex and ambiguous issues. . Creativity & Critical Thinking. . Demonstrate experience in building capability of team/s around technology and processes. . Be able to work with Key Business Stakeholders / Project Delivery Teams to establish timelines/delivery requirements to deliver solutions. . Bachelor degree in Engineering / MCA / MBA or any equivalent Engineering stream. . Previous experience in financial services, having delivered large to complex scale projects ideally in Banking &Finance area. . Strong leadership and organisation skills with proven ability to be able to manage other people\'s workload and ensure all deliverables as a group are met. Skills that will help you in the role: . Hands on knowledge of implementation of strategic programs / platforms. . Ability to manage and deliver programme scope in a business that is undergoing a high degree of organisational and strategic change. . Experienced delivery manager with a demonstrable track record working on portfolio driven initiatives with cross functional delivery impact. . Experience of delivering large scale transformation programmers in banking or financial organisation. . Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. Able to work with and present to senior stakeholders.
