About Shiksh?graha

As part of the Inspire initiative, Mantra4Change builds partnerships to amplify our ideas and approaches across the educational ecosystem. One of our key initiatives under this umbrella is the Shiksh?graha movement.
Shiksh?graha is built on an audacious aspiration: to reimagine public education as a collective societal mission, transcending policy to ignite a movement of community-driven transformation. Across India's 1 million public schools, our vision is to set each on a continuous improvement journey--empowering them to become thriving centers of learning, equity, and opportunity.

At its core, Shiksh?graha is driven by three interconnected missions:The Systemic Leadership Collective, which enables district-wide transformation through local organizations and system actors The Women Leadership Collective, which centers the voices and leadership of women in education reform The Youth Leadership Collective, which activates young people as agents of change in their communities.

Together, these missions work to empower school leaders, foster collaboration between district education departments and grassroots organizations, and leverage open-source platforms like DIKSHA to document and share best practices. The movement focuses on improving student outcomes, enhancing school infrastructure, and building systemic capacity through community-driven, need-based, and sustainable solutions tailored to local realities.
