Software QA Engineering Head
Location: Trivandrum, Chennai, Kochi
Reports To: Head of Product Engineering Function:
Product Engineering Role
Summary:
Lead and drive continuous quality engineering and improvement practices across products. Establish automation frameworks, standardize testing practices, and mentor QA engineers to ensure high-quality software engineering outcome.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a unified testing and quality assurance strategy.

• Improve engineering efficiency through automation testing

• Lead and own test artifacts, automation frameworks and infrastructure.

• Collaborate with DevOps and Support teams on CI/CD.

• Hire, coach and manage QA engineers, architects and managers.

• Define and ensure adherence to QA policies, procedures, and documentation.

• Oversight of test env and production releases.

• Drive continuous improvement in QA metrics and team capabilities.

• Ensure compliance with US Healthcare regulations.

Required Knowledge & Skills

• Strong foundation in software engineering and QA methodologies.

• Hands-on with latest automation technologies and tools

• Prior experience working on Agile methodology

• Experience driving QA integration with DevOps enabling continuous releases.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.

• Knowledge of healthcare payer domain (preferred).

Experience

• 10+ years in product QA automation.

• 5+ years leading large QA functions

• Proven experience in DevOps environments with continuous testing.
