Description and Requirements
Job details:
Build personal relationships with Sales, customers C-levels and technical decision makers to ensure early engagement in customers' problem-and-solution determination process.
Represent Hybrid Cloud Service practice during the sales cycle, including project scoping, solution architecting, proposal development, and presenting proposals to clients, supporting TruScale, Professional Services and Managed Services opportunities.
Ensure that customer expectations are appropriately set and managed
Facilitate strategy, roadmap, design, and planning workshops
Lead technical advisory and solutioning efforts during sales phase and perform warm handover of opportunities to delivery team during transition to delivery phase.
Strong ability to not only drive and lead technical solution and discussion, but also capability in sizing and pricing services efforts.
Technology thought leader and evangelist
Assist in building and leverage an ecosystem of internal technical specialists and partner capability to design end-to-end Hybrid Cloud solutions for our customers. This will expand beyond hybrid cloud to encompass all aspects IT Transformation.
Maintain a broad knowledge and understanding of the current and anticipated future state of the IT infrastructure marketplace including IT infrastructure trends, technologies, and standards.
Willingness to continuously upgrading oneself with relevant certifications as required by the organization.
Assist with development of solution capabilities when required.
Responsibilities:
Drive technical advisory and facilitate technical/roadmap workshops with customers to determine customer pain points, requirements to qualify an opportunity.
Solution Architect and perform technical solutioning/leadership for Hybrid Cloud Solution opportunities for qualified opportunities.
Provide services sizing and pricing, including 3rd party solutions.
Perform Solution Certifications and adhere to internal sales/presales opportunities workflows.
Prepare Scope of Work documents for qualified opportunities
Perform warm handover to delivery team when an opportunity is secured.
Support internal offering development and external marketing efforts.
Be a SSG internal and external advocate.
Any other responsibilities allocated by management.
Basic Qualifications:
15+ years of experience in related areas including 5+ years of experience in developing and implementing infrastructure solutions for large companies
Demonstrated track record with architecting Hybrid Cloud environments and enterprise system architectures
Hybrid IT transformation, design and consolidation, cloud journey and repatriation (Coud, Server, Storage, Network, Desktop)
Hybrid Cloud architectures and solutions - especially cloud platform technologies such as Microsoft Azure/Azure Local, SDN, Vmware vRA/vCD/ vRO/NSX/Tanzu, Nutanix, Redhat Openstack/Openshift/Ansible and so on.
Architecting and solutioning of Azure, AWS, GCP and other public cloud technologies
Experience in pricing efforts and solutions.
Proven experience as a key technical resource leading development of hybrid cloud solutions in client environments
Experience in a position with significant Hybrid Cloud technical consulting and design experience will be highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) around all key technical decisions during presales and project delivery
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
Strong interpersonal skills, customer centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversity
Proven team player and team builder Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to adapt to a multicultural working environment
Results oriented individual with high degree of autonomy and pro-active mentality
Fluency in English, additional relevant regional (Asia Pacific) languages an advantage
