Key Responsibilities
Lead the design of end-to-end solutions for new telecommunications products and services, focusing on the fulfillment and service assurance domains.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements, ensuring solution designs align with strategic objectives and architectural standards.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including solution architecture diagrams, interface specifications, and design documents.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies and platforms that improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of our BSS (Business Support Systems) and OSS (Operations Support Systems) stacks.
Provide technical guidance and leadership to development teams, ensuring that implemented solutions adhere to the defined architecture and best practices.
Identify and mitigate architectural risks and technical debt, proposing strategies for continuous improvement.
Contribute to the evolution of the overall enterprise architecture, ensuring consistency and interoperability across all systems.
Support business case development and project scoping by providing accurate estimates for technical effort and resource requirements.
Design and architect solutions for Network Assurance, focusing on proactive monitoring, fault detection, and resolution to ensure high network availability and service quality. Skills and Experience
Proven experience as a Solution Architect, specifically within the telecommunications industry.
Strong understanding of telecommunications concepts, network technologies, and industry-standard BSS/OSS frameworks (e.g., eTOM, TAM).
In-depth knowledge of key domain areas such as Order Management, Inventory Management, Provisioning, Activation, Fault Management, and Performance Monitoring.
Experience with a variety of architectural patterns (e.g., microservices, event-driven, API-first) and a solid grasp of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of delivering innovative solutions to complex challenges.
Hands-on experience with Network Assurance platforms and technologies, including performance management, service quality management, and alarm correlation.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
