We are seeking an experienced

Solution Architect

to lead the design and implementation of a large-scale migration from

SAP B2B to Optimizely Commerce Cloud

. This role will serve as the

technical leader

, responsible for defining a scalable, secure, and future-ready architecture.


The ideal candidate has deep expertise in

enterprise commerce systems, cloud architecture, and system integrations

. You will guide development teams, ensure best practices in solution design, and ultimately take full ownership of the architecture and development transition from the vendor.

Responsibilities include:

Architecture Design

Define the end-to-end migration architecture from SAP B2B to Optimizely, including CMS, Commerce, and PIM integration. Design scalable, secure, and high-performance frameworks aligned with business goals. Establish data migration strategies for products, pricing, and customer hierarchies. Ensure API integration between SAP, Optimizely, and other enterprise systems.

Technical Leadership

Lead and mentor development teams on best practices and coding standards. Collaborate with Optimizely consultants and internal teams to validate feasibility and technical approach. Drive DevOps strategy for CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud deployment.

Project Ownership

Act as the technical owner of the migration project, taking over from vendor after initial phases. Ensure alignment with enterprise security and compliance standards. Provide technical guidance during feasibility analysis and pilot module migration.

Collaboration Communication

Work closely with Business Analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions. Communicate architecture decisions to stakeholders and leadership in business-friendly terms. Support QA teams with test strategy for performance, integration, and security.

Deep understanding of SAP Commerce Cloud, Back Office, and integration patterns.

B2B Platform:

Hands-on experience with CMS and Commerce Cloud platforms, specifically Optimizely.

Optimizely PIM Spire:

Strong knowledge of Optimizely Product Information Management (PIM) and Spire framework for modern commerce experiences.

.NET Development:

Proficient in .NET Core and ASP.NET, essential for Optimizely development.

Cloud Architecture:

Strong knowledge of Azure PaaS, commonly used for hosting Optimizely solutions.

Azure Active Directory:

Experience with identity and access management using Azure AD.

API Design Integration:

Skilled in RESTful services, SAP APIs, and Optimizely endpoints.

Frontend Development:

Strong React expertise with CMS integration experience.
