Requirements

8 to 15 years of total experience and 5 years of experience in Ignition development projects

Relevant certifications in Ignition SCADA, Siemens, or Rockwell automation systems will be an advantage.

Strong experience in other industrial automation systems such as Siemens, Rockwell, Allen-Bradley, and Schneider Electric.

Proven experience in leading large-scale industrial automation projects from inception to delivery.

Technical Skills:

Expert-level knowledge of Ignition SCADA development, deployment, and maintenance.

Strong proficiency in PLC programming and automation systems like Siemens (S7), Rockwell (RSLogix), and others.

Experience in working with MES, ERP, and integrating SCADA systems with third-party platforms.

Deep understanding of network protocols, HMI systems, and control system architectures.

Knowledge of SQL databases, Python scripting, and Java in the context of SCADA development.

Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC, Ethernet/IP, and Profibus.

Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering robust and innovative solutions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Proven ability to mentor and lead technical teams.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and architecture of complex SCADA systems using

Ignition

in industrial automation projects.

Develop and implement customized solutions for clients, leveraging

Siemens

,

Rockwell

, and other industrial automation systems (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric).

Work closely with clients to understand their business and technical requirements, and translate them into actionable SCADA and automation solutions.

Ensure seamless integration between SCADA systems and other enterprise systems, including MES, ERP, and PLC systems.

Manage the end-to-end delivery of automation projects, including planning, development, testing, and commissioning.

Oversee system performance, security, scalability, and maintainability throughout the solution lifecycle.

Provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams including automation engineers, SCADA developers, and IT support teams.

Offer expertise in troubleshooting, system optimization, and continuous improvement for existing automation infrastructures.

Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements in SCADA and industrial automation technologies.

Contribute to the development of internal processes and best practices to improve project delivery efficiency.
